I have had this prof for my 301 and 452 class and can honestly say that she is the best professor I have ever had. Absolutely brilliant. I am so saddened to see her go from the U of A :(

Clearly love kids and knows her stuff. Interesting class for sure. But the tests were ridiculous. Many of the questions were ambiguous and/or didn't fit with the material taught. I can't believe she used to teach Assessment. She was also difficult to follow at times, and wasn't as clear as she could have been about assignments.

If you want to know how to love children no matter who they are, sure, go for it. If you want to know how to actually educate a senior high student with severe disabilities...forget it. And I think she has ADD...a little hard to follow at times. Otherwise the information is good and the class enjoyable.

What a wonderful teacher!!! She posts her notes online so you spend class LISTENING and not WRITING down notes. She keeps her classes very interesting, doesn't mind looking silly to get us to remember things. She will stress the important facts, and if you study these you're fine. Love love love.

Sally is an amazing prof, hands down. As for MT's and how to study - just look at all the other comments below, it's still the same. She's the most enthusiastic teacher I've had yet, as well as entertaining. I actually wanted to attend class, despite the textbook being self explanatory! I'd recommend her to anyone and everyone :)

Very good teacher, I would go out of my way to make sure I have her next year. She makes the class exciting and is quite funny herself. She plays videos and has interactive group activities in class which made me look forward to her class. As for studying, read the textbook, make flash cards and memorize memorize memorize. Not too much else.

Excellent. This was the easiest class I have ever taken. Probably easier than most high school classes. You have to read the textbook for her exams but she does go over everything in lectures although not in complete detail. The exams are extremely easy but the class average is high. You should still be able to get a good grade if you study.

Overall, I really liked her alot. Her classes were interesting and I got a good laugh usually but you definitely don't need to go. I probably missed half the classes and still ended up with an A-. Straight from the text so know it inside out. Average is high though--I had an 89. Recommended.

This was the best "class". The material was so simple, you don't have to go to a single lecture. She has 3 MTs and a final, so each is based on only 2-3 chapters each which are an easy read. If you can enroll in her class (and not even attend) just so you can get the easiest A of your university career, the other faculty are terrible. Pick Sally.

Sally is an okay prof;I had her for 104 and 233. If you want a good mark study the textbook, her notes don't add anything. I do not think the class was as good as it could be, although, she does at least make an effort to add extra information. The final was really easy and she does not make it cumulative so the course is not a huge time demand.

Sally is a babe. I have a lot of respect for her and I imagine she was probably an excellent teacher in her time. Her courses in the IPT are difficult and require a lot of work to be successful. If you need help with assignments meet with her not T.A's because they are useless. Careful voicing your thoughts because she can make you look stupid

Sally is a knowledgeable prof and does try to be interesting. However, I don't think that her tests are fair. They totally go against everything she teaches in assessment (EDPY303). Questions are unclear and confusing. There is also unclear criteria on assignments--went for help from TA and everything but still got a pretty poor grade on assign.

Sally is extremely knowledgeable and intelligent. She was very helpful to me whenever I stopped by her office. If you don't attend her lectures you're just lazy. That's pretty much what I expect from the younger generation anyhow. Her exams are tough but you have to work hard when you get a job so be responsible and committed.

Comment:
Boring lectures, tests are ridiculous and consist of a lot of memorization from the textbook and lectures. For someone who is supposed to be an expert on test construction, she doesn't construct her tests very well.
