He is very blunt/low key rude and patronizing. Makes fun of and teases students who have questions or who dont understand the material. Dont sit in the front 2 rows unless youre ok with him randomly talking to you during class. He will explain things many times/as needed. Nice guy, but not my favorite teacher.. He can be funny sometimes

He is very tough on people that do not respect him or his class but is very helpful in class and outside of class. If math is difficult for you he might not be the best professor to take just because of the difficulty of the class, take advantage of your S/U!

He doesn't like teaching non-majors, lower level math like calc 1, or answering questions. He is accessible outside class but is not kind to non-math majors. All upper level math majors love him. Way to fast with lectures.

If you are good at math and do not need as much help as others, he is okay. If you struggle, do not take this class. First test is the hardest, but does get progressively easier. He can be an angry person if you don't pay attention, and is very sarcastic. Not a fan of his in class personality, but he is great outside class. Also always available.

I greatly enjoyed his class! Even though we had a lot of homework, he always let us ask questions during class about problems we were stuck on. I really enjoyed getting to see how geometry was built, from the ground up. But I will say he doesn't give you anything you don't earn.

Don't take him!!! He does not explain things well and gets annoyed if you ask questions. He acts like it isn't part of his job to help you understand in class.

Dr. Pullano is a great professor! There are homework assignments to do after every class but it only helps you prepare for his quizzes and exams. He is available outside of class during office hours and can really help you out if you are struggling. Dr. P is also very funny. Overall great class!

Dr. P is the worst math teacher I've ever had. He doesn't understand the material himself, which shows in his lectures. He makes Calculus far more complicated than it is. Tests are impossibly hard and don't match most homework questions. Would not recommend.

Had a terrible time in his class especially with trying to catch up. He was never clear on lessons and multiple times if you asked a question he would work through it on the board but his answer wouldn't be right either. He rushes through things and it's almost impossible to follow his lectures.

Comment:
The lectures tend to last all the way until the end of class so do not expect to get out early, it rarely happens. He can be rude so be very cautious of the questions you ask him. He rarely uses the book, possible quiz everyday, test are not to long. He is very confusing and does not present information very well. No study review so rely on notes.

I do not recommend Pullano at all. His handwriting is terrible and he does a poor job at teaching the material. He also gets off track a lot.

Comment:
Calculus I is already a difficult subject, yet Dr. Pullano some how finds a way to make it worse. His class is confusing, and he does not explain anything in detail, rather he just does a lot of examples. He is a rough personality, which makes it hard to ask for help. I had to get a tutor, and attend the MTC just to understand.

Comment:
Dr. P's brash personality, mixed with his lack of knowledge of the course content makes him an ineffective and incompetent instructor for this course. His lectures are not structured and his tests do not coincide with his lectures, making them extremely difficult. He often has trouble answering questions. I would not suggest taking him!

Comment:
Dr. Pullano is not an adequate professor for Calc I. His lectures are not clear, his test are extremely difficult, and he is not comfortable with the material. For those reasons, his teaching style is not conducive to learning. He rarely knows answers to students questions, and he stumbles with answering them. I suggest taking a different professor

This is a hard class, but Dr.Pullano breaks everything down so that it's understandable. His exams are hard, but it really prepares you for the cumulative final. If you go to class and do your homework you shouldn't have any problem, you'll fail if you don't. He has great dry sense of humor, very funny...but wise to lazy students. great class!

If you struggle in math DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR!!! He is always willing to help after class and in his office but he DOES NOT EXPLAIN THINGS TOO WELL AND KIND OF MAKES YOU FEEL STUPID IF YOU DONT GET IT!! He adds a lot of energy to the class though. He also posts notes and practice tests.
