Grades take home midterm and case studies really tough. Often the questions do not express what she is actually look for in the answer, it may actually be something else entirely. Ask her questions about what she actually wants. Has quizzes online before each class that look at specific details within the chapter coming up. Must read the text!

I have taken two classes so far with Glenda and 317 was a very heavy reading course and she does tend to go off on little tangent but they are course relevant. 419 was a great course and she was a great prof for it! Don't be intimidated by the title, she just wants you to apply knowledge more than anything. Overall, great prof!

Although many complain that Glenda may veer off topic, the things she talks about have some sort of relevance to what you're doing. If not THAT much relevance, it's all quite interesting. She likes to challenge her students, but is VERY willing to help you when you ask for it. She is an example of some who loves what they do and knows her stuff!

Hard to stay awake! assignments are not well explained, class is hard to grasp because she uses words I have never heard of before to explain OTHER things that I've never even Learned about! Go to every class with a huge coffee to try and stay awake...don't slack because you teach yourself everything, wikipedia taught me the whole course! She's super nice though and helpful if you go see her.

Glenda is an extremely bright professor. If you are in upper division courses with her, be prepared to know your stuff. I enjoyed the integration of different approaches to learning she used. As well, she doesn't want you to just memorize things, but learn the process and conceptual stuff behind what is going on in the brain. She's hillarious.

ohmygosh she's so ADD! the classes are super easy, but the teacher is super spacey and goes off on random tangents, giving facts that have absolutly nothing to do with psychology. take it if you want easy marks!

Glenda is hillarious! She may be a little spacy but who doesn't like a good story about her and her collegues taking the drugs intended for lab rats to see what they "really did"! She doesn't always stick to the syllabus so beware of major changes. Overall, it's an interesting class... just be ready to learn alot about her and her family!

Quite a boring class. I didn't show up a lot and still did fairly well. When I did show up, I was always distracted and ended up playing games on a nearby laptop. The way she relates concepts to herself are quite unique, and wasn't all bad, but by the end of the year she had completely lost it. "This face is angry -> =)"

..I went to all her lectures. Never studied for the midterms or the final and managed to pull off a B. And do the 4 percent bonus research questionaires. Those are difinately worth the time. Did I mention it's all the tests are all MULTIPLE CHOICE! I'm going to minor in PSYC thanks to this Martha Stewart look-a-like. YEEE YEEEEA

Very vague and unclear. Usually with her classes, you can just read the textbook, and be okay, but for this class, the text was a reading package that she wrote, so it was just as vague and unclear as she was. I really didn't learn much in this class.

If you can understand Glenda at the 300 level, you are either a higher level student or a genius. Furthermore, she has quite the questionable comments and allusions, that is when she isn't spaced out. Easy marker though and you don't have to attend class to get good marks. Go to class if you want a laugh, but don't be surprised if you get offended.

Whose idea was the leather pants with tapered ankles? Bad prof. Talks over the level of the class. Supposedly ok in upper, upper level classes, but not for anything under the 400 level.
