LOVED having Jenny for a professor! I had her for an introductory to photography and she really helped me understand and appreciate photography. It was a hybrid class to half online and half in person, but her lectures were always very interesting and kept you engaged.

Comment:

Knavel is a fun teacher to take. I'm not an art student but still enjoyed her class. When she shows the class how to do a project, she takes quite of a time and it gets a repetitive. Projects do take a lot of time so be prepared to work on them outside of class. The art kit was a bit expensive, but kinda cool to have. Overall the class is chill!

Jenny is very passionate about design. She makes herself available to her students and is always looking for a way to improve students' artwork by contributing her own ideas and criticism. Beware her introductions to a new assignment, though. Her instructions are thorough, but she demonstrates every aspect of the assignment and it takes 40 min each

I had her for design and i thought she was fantastic. She has strict criteria but that just pushes you to do something interesting within guide lines. She helps but does not come right out and tell you what to do, that way it is all your piece. I think she is so sweet and the class was hard and time consuming but i loved it. It really helped me

Jenny talks WAY too fast. She prefers everything be done her way, even if you have a good idea. The projects in design are very limited, However, She can sometimes make the atmosphere fun. I halfway enjoyed her class

some like her others dont, shes a great person, but not the best teacher. she doesnt help improve your work she just says "do better" one project she told me was great, when she graded it, i got a D. she has some great projects, but doesnt teach

her class is great and she's a great teacher. I used to suck at drawing, but thanks to her I can draw much more than stick figures now. YEA! Also, her laugh is contagious.
