Absolutely useless, before the first assignment was due I called him for help.(it was an envision class) He had no idea what I was talking about or that there was even an assignment due. He just rambled one about something completly irrelevant.

Tay Wilson boggles my mind. He can make a peanut butter sandwich complicated. He always reads from the textbook. I don't pay 5 thousand dollars in school fees to get read to, thank you very much. I don't recommend taking receptor processes and perception with him unless you want a big headache.

Tay is the best stats teacher ever!! He knows his stats, however, receptor processes and Cognitive is a completely different story! He sits at the front and reads directly from textbook then gives you 500 questions to memorize for the exam and only puts 49 on it...ridiculous!

Dr. Wilson was my favorite psych prof. He is soooo intelligent. Stats was awesome, he was a very good teacher. There are no surprises. If you go to class and learn everything, you'll do well. He adds a constant to every test, usually 10 or 15%. His expectations aren't too high... this is University people!

Smart as f**k, but can't teach whatsoever. Despite this, he still adds 10% to all test marks which I'm sure helped some people pass his course(s). He's and AWFUL stats teacher, he says "correct me I'f I go wrong somewhere" while he's explaining something.

I don't even know where to begin. He literally sits infront of the class and reads passages word for word from the text while you highlight them. You could leran the material yourself by reading the book but you still wouldn't pass the exam because his questions are so confoundingly detail specific. He's smart and friendly but he juts can't teach.

What a weird person... from looking at him, it would never cross your mind he was a professor. His lectures can be done from the text, you have to do all the work yourself unless you go to his office for help. Nice enough man to talk to, but like I said weird... his lectures have many offbeat, entertaining moments...

He sits there. He reads out of the textbook. You highlight things in the textbook. That was receptor processes and perception. Now he's really helpful out of class and knows his stuff...a great guy outside of the class but his teaching style and exams are really not something I want to go through again.

I don't know how you could complain about him! He's the greatest teacher! I've done awesome in a few of his classes, and he makes it so easy for you. Plus, he's appearance alone would make you want to go to class!

Tay had his moments in class where he could be funny, but my problem with his teaching style is that he is so in love with mathematics and statistics that he presents the information rather than teaching it... I was not a strong student in math and he did NOT help me understand any better. If your already strong in math you'll be fine, if not OUCH!

I took this course with Tay a few yrs ago and am working on my phd now & am teaching a psych course myself. He sucks. He may have a wealth of knowledge & 2 phd's but that doesn't guarantee excellence in teaching. Reads the text book to the class, reads out 100s of questions for the exam that we had to write down in class. Very poor method of instru

It's written that he's available Tuesdays & Thursdays between 10-11 am...that’s a lie & if you call his secretary & she says he'll call you back, it won't happen and he does not reply to e-mails either because he’s above it. So basically, you're on your own & he doesn’t give a flying ...

He lied to us about our exam. In my opinion that is not professional. that is the only thing I have against him, you know that when everyone is crying, and failed, there is something wrong, not just the students....
