DeKock is awesome. He teaches a tough class and has high standards, but is very fair. He is INCREDIBLY willing to help you; no prof more willing to go above and beyond for my learning. Don't be fooled by his social awkwardness; very approachable. Sometimes gets confused in class, but good explanations in office hours. Bonus: hilarious.

Very smart and nice guy, helpful prof, but very difficult class, especially if you skip the CHEM 103 section. Tests are tough, and class periods can get frustrating, even though he is a funny prof.

DeKock is awesome! Very funny and scatterbrained. He doesn't always cover all the material in class, so make sure to read the textbook on your own. He is hilarious, even at 8AM!

Hilarious at 8 AM. There was not a day that I went to class and didn't laugh. I already knew most of the material and he sometimes isn't so great at explaining things, so if you don't have any experience in Chem, you might want a different prof, but the man is delightful.

This guy is awesome and funny. He says the randomest things in class. The lectures don't help a ton so may be only take him if you have a basic understanding. There is like no homework. He likes to mix stuff up a lot.

DeKock is a really quirky and fun professor, but I have had a difficult time learning from his teaching style. He doesn't explain concepts very well. Mostly I have to teach myself by reading the book and doing the problems. But if you have a good grasp on Chemistry already, take him because the classes are worth going to.

The lectures are somewhat pointless, because if you just read the book then you will understand. However, he tells you in the class a lot of info that you don't need to know, so its good to go to class. He's really funny, somewhat scatterbrained, but the class is fun and enjoyable. Great Chem103 prof, Three tests and three quizes make up your grad
