Nice man, very willing to help or explain. If something isn't clear in lecture, he does a good job of explaining that benefits the whole class and reinforces material. Hilarious corny jokes that make the class lighthearted and fun. Would definitely recommend and am planning on taking him again.

Harper is a great prof! He's clear on what you need to know, and he's always willing to help. Memorize the equations and go through practice problems and you'll be fine. He offers great test reviews too. His puns are rather unbearable at 8am so try to take him at a later time in the day.

He's very nice and willing to help. His notes are super organized, although lectures can be boring. He absolutely loves to make puns and always has "joke fridays".. it's hilarious. Grades depend a lot on tests, which can be difficult. Calvin's physics department overall really isn't the greatest, but Harper is one of the better profs for 133

Dr. Harper is a great professor. He teaches in a way that draws everything out very clearly. However, your grade is pretty much from your tests and final exam, which are rather difficult. But, I would recommend Dr. Harper to anyone who needs physics because you will have a great understanding of it when you're done with the course.

Prof. Harper is easily one of the best professors at Calvin - his notes are clear on concise and he explains all his equations very well. He is willing to help you if you get stuck on the homework, which is moderately difficult. Oh, and I love the guy's puns and "Bad Joke Friday."

Awesome prof. He is a great teacher; his lectures are crystal clear and very engaging. He's hilarious; be prepared for corny puns. An overall interesting, fun, approachable, and helpful guy. It's a tough subject, but the tests and homework are very doable. Highly recommended

His questioning strategies are extremely annoying. He's always cheerful and willing to help... but I honestly can't listen to him lecture because he asks questions that aren't really questions! He's willing to listen to suggestions on how to improve the class and his teaching... but he could start acting on those suggestions anytime now :)

Great prof! he's extremely helpfull and nice. he answers any questions you have. he's really quirky and has his weird and funny things about him, but he is a great guy- he cares about your success. his tests are difficult though...
