Comment:
The online course actually wasn't too bad. Her rubrics are kinda confusing at first, but its because they are really open-ended. As long as you put thought into your posts, she'll give you an A. The final project is a bit brutal - so don't procrastinate! Nice professor, responds fast to emails, slightly biased. Take if you can!!

Very helpful prof. when more help was needed. Fascinating readings. Put interesting comments with grade to respond to my discussion posts. Everything important is in writing, just need to read assignment sheets.

this prof is TERRIBLE. doesn't give direction or clarity for any assignments and expects you to read her mind. Doesn't actually read discussion board posts, gives everyone a 100%, and then hits you with a 50% for your final. DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS

Prof.S. was awesome! She answered my emails right away, encouraged me when I ran into trouble with my research. Her syllabus and rubrics were clear to me. The readings and class discussions were eye openers!

Prof. Swartzlander was awful. Maybe it was because it was an online class, but her syllabus was really confusing, she was rude in emails, graded unnecessarily harsh WITHOUT rubrics, and was completely hyprocritical on her "0 tolerance late policy". I would never take her class again!

Honors Eurociv was amazing. Swartzlander is definitely challenging, but you would be remised no to take this class. It's a lot of work, but at the end it's such a great feeling of accomplishment and challenge. Don't think twice, take her she's great.

Wonderful, wonderful prof! Sue is very worldly and knowledgeable. Her and Fran's Honors course is a lot of work, but definitely worth it. She likes you to be involved in the class, and she has a sense of humor.

Kind and likable person, but I find her to be somewhat of a disorganized teacher. Her Powerpoint presentations usually consisted of a number of images slapped onto blank slides, which she would then explain the significance of, and her assignments are not always as clearly defined as they could be. Overall, I would say she's a mediocre / ok Prof.

Fantastic. If u love a challenge, Ulysses is it. Attendance is a MUST. Open topic 12pg paper, discussion based, small class size=better interaction (not for the shy), chapt guide assignment. No Midterm, ID Final. Prof will work w/u on thesis. TAKE THIS CLASS and remember why you decided to attend post-secondary education in the first place.

She was great! mostly online class so you had to post and add to discussions. Papers were really easy only one 12pg paper the whole semester. No quizzes. Grades pretty easy especially in Ulysses class. I got an A.

She is a TERRIBLE professor, but a decent person. she cares about her students, but she is very confusing. her paper assignments are never clear, and it never seemed like i could do *quite* enough for her. i never got above a D on a single paper i wrote for her, but as a straight A student in high school who USED TO love to write...

Very nice woman, very fair and is open-minded and understanding to personal issues that might affect students. Lectures could be very dull, lots of readings, some very dull. Learned some interesting things, however useless to daily life. One of the better 380 classes to take. I reccomend.

Really intelligent and knows her stuff. Treats students like adults. I felt the readings were mostly interesting, but some of the lectures were a little dry. Best days were the ones involving class discussions and whatnot.
